We are so excited and thrilled to have Clay and Olivia Webb leading worship for us this Sunday. Clay and Olivia are originally from Paw Paw, MI where they had began their ministry leading worship for RooTs (a ministry geared to pursuing the deeper places of God). In addition to leading worship for RooTs they had traveled to many different ministries using their gifts and talents to help other churches. In fall of 2013 both Clay and Olivia had decided that they would pursue their education by attending The Ramp School of Ministry where they had graduated in Spring of 2015 and are now members of the group Chosen. Since they have been at the Ramp they have lead worship and assisted in music for many different ministries and worship leaders such as; Catherine Mullins, Karen Wheaton, Tyler England, and so many more.
Their heart to lead others into the presence of God and ability to serve no matter where they are placed is truly wonderful and on I cannot tell you how thrilled we are to have them lead worship for our church.
Check out this quick excerpt from Clay and Olivia and little more about them
“From a family of ministry and musicians, Clayton has been around both all his life. At 14 he began leading worship at his home church and seriously writing and recording the songs from his heart shortly thereafter. Passionate about leading his generation into genuine worship, he started a worship band called Audience of One. Through his band and throughout his four years of high school, he began leading at worship events, youth camps, and churches in Michigan and surrounding states. During his Junior year, he met Olivia and they began dating. They both felt a call on their lives to move to Hamilton, AL to attend The Ramp School of Ministry. Upon graduating with a degree in Worship Leadership, they got married. Clayton and Olivia have experience leading worship for area prayer gatherings such as 24-hour prayer pushes and Kalamazoo House of Prayer where there is spontaneous “harp and bowl” style worship, all the way to leading congregational worship in a stadium. They currently serve in the worship department at The Ramp and are apart of Karen Weaton’s ministry team, Chosen. They feel a strong call on their lives to travel on the road to various churches, events and the streets, carrying the presence of a real and living God.” -webbmusic.org/about-1
